Eclipse® Shutters are offered in two operating systems: Tilt Bar and Clearview® hidden rear tilt.
The traditional styling of our patented Tilt Bar system provides a tight and uniform closure of all louvers at once and is located at the front center of each panel. The Eclipse Shutters Tilt Bar system has eliminated unsightly staples or gears which tend to break or rust, and does not have the unsightly mouse holes you tend to see in wooden shutter products.
Another option is the Clearview hidden rear tilt system. The Clearview hidden rear tilt system brings a more contemporary look to your interior design. A patented series of connectors located on the back of the shutters offers a clean appearance when the shutters are closed, while also providing an unobstructed view of the outdoors when fully opened. The louvers can still be closed tightly in both directions, and also does not have mouse holes.
It is strictly personal preference as to which operating system will look best in your home. To help you decide, we recommend viewing the photos in our gallery for more examples of the Tilt Bar and Clearview hidden rear tilt options.
